The Meat Safe is perfect for keeping flies off your meat on those overnight and multi day hunts. With a internal height of over two meters the strong mesh sides keeps it's own shape keeping the mesh away from the meat and making it faster to put up. The built in hanging loop and peg loops at the bottom to secure the bottom so that the mesh doesn't get blown onto the carcass. The meat safe and the handy collapsible alloy poles are all packaged in a handy drawstring bag to pop into the bottom of your pack. Weight 800 gms / 28oz.

Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, close all zips including pocket zips. Use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent and gentle wash at a temperature below 40º Celsius. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment. Warm tumble dry, or line dry after washing.

Great bit of kit, perfect for those multi-day trips and works great with the option to peg the bottom so you can keep the mesh off the meat. Had mine for a few years and gets regular use, still going strong. Highly recommend!

Excellent piece of kit. Super easy and quick to set up. Keeps the flies out and easy to clean. Lightweight and packs away with ease. Well made with good strong stitching and construction.

This is one of the best bits of kit you can have on extended hunts, lightweight easy to assemble and airs your meat perfectly. Great when the blow flies are about and great to protect your meat from going off . This should be in every hunters kit..

The best meat safe yet and I’ve tried heaps and don’t let the small cord that you tie to a branch fool you I’ve had a whole red deer hanging on it. 10/10 in my book.

Game changer no more maggots on the meat, soon as I butcher it on the hill straight into the meat safe then zip it up, then repeat... works a trick! Back home hang for a couple of days and then butcher! A must have nothing worse than giving meat away with worms on it!!!

Have been using this meat safe for a few months now and it’s been a game changer! I can now hang animals in my shed for a couple of days with no worries about flies, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. The mesh is very durable and any blood can be easily hosed off after use. The string used to hang animals off is very strong, I’ve hung a 120lb boar with no issues and I’m sure it could hang heavier animals too. Very impressed, highly recommend.

The is a fantastic meat safe and worked better than expected, had a deer in the back of the ute in the safe with flys everywhere was able to sort it straight from the ute to a tree and was able to get inside and skin the animal away from the flies. Have just bought another for my brother for an early birthday present.
