Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, handwashing is our recommended method. Use lukewarm water and a mild plant based liquid detergent or wool conditioner specifically formulated for wool. Gently rinse well in cold water avoiding twisting the garment. DO NOT use fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Bleach destroys the wool fibers, and fabric softener coats those fibers—reducing their ability to naturally manage moisture and regulate body temperature. Lay flat on a rack to dry, avoid direct sunlight and do not tumble dry.

A wonderful warm coat for chilly dogs

A wonderful warm coat for chilly dogs. There are no buttons or straps for the dog to remove, so they can not take it off themselves. It goes on like a human jersey.
We got the XL for our bigger Huntaway type dog and a L for our heading dog and they fit well with room to move.
If our dogs could speak they would say they like that it is black as it blends in and they don't feel weird wearing them in public.

My dog loves it

My dog loves it. fits snuggly under waterproof jacket and keeps him super toasty. it did make him itch and roll a bit at the start, but being snug fitting he cant get it off and after a day or 2 He realized how good it is and now he lets me know if I forget to put it on him.

Fantastic quality, perfect fit. Keeps my dog warm but not too hot.

Loving these coats - we now have 3 and will get more! Well made, robust, and easy to get on and off. Our furry crew are so snug on these chilly Canterbury nights. Great that we can support NZ wool - well done Stoney Creek :-)

Tommy the heading dog is very happy with her winter coat. She couldn't be more pleased about her cosy coat. Think the other working dogs are quite jealous.
